Katten attorneys will participate in the "The First 48 Hours: Responding to a Data Breach in 2015" in Chicago at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21 and in New York at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 22. The presentation will address the uptick in data breaches directed at companies of various sizes. Panelists will discuss responding to data breaches, differences in jurisdictional requirements, encryption, notification procedures, liability and insurance considerations. Claudia Callaway, chair of Katten's Consumer Finance Litigation practice; Christina Grigorian, special counsel in the Financial Services group; Megan Hardiman, co-head of the firm's Privacy, Data and Cybersecurity group; and Doron Goldstein, co-head of the firm's Privacy, Data and Cybersecurity group, will participate in the panel.
